ADAT (code that collects the customs and traditions of some communities of the Caucasus and Central Asia, including the nomadic or semi-nomadic peoples and villages of Kyrgyzstan). Community of textile sculptures that narrate the reflection on current society and its values using fabric as the main material in its different techniques and versions. Each sculptural gesture represents a metaphor of real life in its purest meaning based on the author's experience and trying to narrate it freely, a term that is seen in decline today. ¨Weaving to maintain sanity” is the concept linked to this work that will be born as art therapy, offering an interesting alternative to a depressed social framework. The composition of the sculptures implies the creation of the fabric itself using natural threads (linen and cotton) adapting the necessary tools to obtain the desired effects (use of the low heddle loom, fringe loom and self-made frame loom). The great sculptural features that predominate in this work are delicacy, lightness and transparency, in addition to being a malleable and structurally independent fabric so that it does not need the implication of walls or architecture for its exhibition (fabrics with a soul that give rise to independent sculptures).
